Look Sharp with Fairway & Greene
On the golf course, looking sharp can be as important to golfers as playing well and Fairway & Greene is one way to get you there. Carried in over 3,500 of the finest private clubs, resorts and clubs in the world including Castle Pines Golf Club and Rolling Hills Country Club in Colorado, the apparel is stylish, colorful and designed to move with your movements.
Variety of Fabrics and Fibers
Founded in 1995, the Fairway & Greene has a long history of integrating diverse fabrics and fibers into its clothing. Between 100% Alpaca and 100% Super Baby Alpaca, 100% pure Cashmere that is spun in Italy using a unique and proprietary technique, Cotton/Tencel, a combo of pure long staple cotton and fiber spun from wood pulp, Linen, Merino Wool, and Pima Cotton, the firms' signature fiber, wearers will find the apparel great to the touch as well as durable.
Techno Fabrics for Wicking Moisture
Pureformance, Fairway & Greene's unique knitting and finishing of a cotton/poly blend with special treatment of the yarn as well as the knitted fabric, gives the lustrous appearance of a cotton product but a wicking, drying results of a synthetic. Polynosic, Rayon and Spandex fibers—originally known as artificial silk—create apparel that feels great on while allowing flexibility.
The Savannah Collection for Men
A new experiment, if you will, for F&G The Savannah Collection feels more like the islands or the Southeast, Southwest or California than the company’s typical Fall color palette. The collection, which comes in Marine, Flamingo, Jade, Coral, Plum, White and Chambray, includes Knit Shirts, Pureformance™, Pureformance™ Fleece, Classic Jersey, Sweaters, Woven Shirts and Bottoms.
“Savannah is our most fun-in-the-sun line,” says Teri Martin Schleifer, Fairway & Greene’s V P, Design. “It has bright, but softened colors. They aren’t electric, but somewhere between brights and pastels.”
Ladies’ Coral Gable Collection
Fairway & Greene’s very cheerful Ladies’ Coral Gable Collection is designed to be fun, and includes includes Bottoms and Knit Shirts. Whether it is the company's fine lisle, baby alpaca, cashmere or its signature Pima cotton and Pureformance blend, golfers will feel comfortably stylish.
“Designing Black and White apparel for Ladies is like printing money,” adds Schleifer. “I’ll always do Black and White, and bring in colors. You can never go wrong with Pink, and I brought in two with this collection—Petal and Strawberry.”
One of three apparel lines produced by Summit Golf Brands (EP Pro and Zero Restriction are the others), Fairway & Greene will make you look like a million bucks. For more information, visit www.fairwayandgreene.com.
