Raven Announces Annual Passes
A favorite of local and visiting golfers, The Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks recently introduced its 2010 annual passes as a way to entice more frequent play. Swimsuit model gorgeous, who wouldn’t want to spend more time here?
“The annual passes provide golfers with tremendous value and the opportunity to play one of the region’s best golf courses,” says general manager Rhonda Boutelle. “Depending on how often an individual or family plays, the savings can be in the hundreds of dollars.”
Locals Playing Plenty Benefit Most.
The Resident Annual Pass is for golfers living in Summit County (Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain, Dillon for example) and costs $3,500 for individuals. With a high-season greens fee running between $120 and $160 per golfer you’d have to golf about 22 rounds on the high end to pretty much pay for the pass.
Non-Resident and Corporate Options.
If you live outside S
ummit County the Non-Resident Annual Pass may still be a good fit if you get to Silverthorne frequently…perhaps if you own a second home in the area. Individuals pay $3,750. At the high-season rate you’d need to golf 24 rounds to begin playing “for free” as it were.
“The non-resident annual pass extends to Clear Creek County, Grand County and Eagle County,” adds Boutelle. “We would love for residents of Georgetown, Idaho Springs, Winter Park, Kremmling, and Vail and Beaver Creek to be included in our mountain golf community. No matter where our guests are from they really enjoy the views, the cuisine at our clubhouse and our country-club atmosphere.”
At $5,000, Front Range businesses may find The Corporate Annual Pass of value as a way of entertaining clients, rewarding vendors or as an employee incentive. The pass covers up to three primary designees and includes bag storage, club cleaning, shoe care, and member lockers.
The Value Just Keeps Adding Up.
Measuring approximately 7,450 yards from the championship tees, the semi-private course is a short drive for Summit County residents and only about an hour from Denver on I-70. Designed by Michael Hurdzan, Dana Fry and Tom Lehman, the course has garnered numerous accolades including ZAGAT—America’s Top Golf Courses 09/10, “No. 2 in Colorado”; GOLF 2008, “No. 6 Best in State”; Colorado Avid Golfer, “No. 1 Mountain Course in Colorado”; Colorado Business, “Top 3 in Colorado for Tournaments and Events” and No. 7 in Colorado by Golfweek in its 2010 edition of "Best You Can Play, State-by-State".
At over 9,000 feet, the course sees temperatures up to 20 degrees cooler than in Denver and the Front Range, which in July and August is incentive to drive up for a few rounds. For information or to book a tee time call 877-296-3636 or check out the web.
